'The room outdoors'
The Patiola is a semi-permanent, robust, fixed terrace cover structure with steel uprights. The material is pulled under tension down side guides to give a very strong, taut cover capable of dispersing rainwater as well as protecting from the sun.
The pertinent points to consider include:
The Patiola boasts a strong structure; the steel uprights are bolted to a hard standing area, the fully waterproof fabric is impervious to adverse weather conditions.
An optional extra is the very desirable addition of a full length cover that can be extended to ground level providing a truly protected recreation area with an alfresco flavour. Side blinds can also be added to create a totally enclosed area, ideal for serious entertaining. Add halogen lighting and infra red heating and you really have created a 'room outdoors'.
The Patiola is electrically operated as standard with a choice of hand held remote controls or internal and external control devices.
The Patiola is a fully cassetted unit and all the material will roll into an aluminium box when retracted fully. Extra horizontal aluminium rollers are used when the pitch angle is shallow or the unit very large to prevent rainwater 'pooling' in pockets in the material cover.
