Samson Amplus Canopy

The Samson Amplus Canopy is a fixed, all year round canopy for so many different environments, providing protection for medium to large outdoor areas.

The canopy framework is constructed entirely from aluminium and comes with either a polycarbonate or glass roof.

The roof has built in rainwater guttering to take any water away from the roof and direct down one or several downpipes in the support legs used.

✓ Use for rain and snow protection and sun protection when retractable blinds are fitted.

✓ Day or night time use with the built in LED lighting options

✓ Partially or fully enclose the sides for further rain and wind protection

Every structure is made to measure as standard at no extra cost and we offer the Amplus as either a wall mounted (lean to) or self supporting structure, in a mono pitch or apex roof design.

The wall mounted system can extend a room or building into the outside and with side infills and roof shading blinds offers great use most of the year round.

The mono pitch and apex roof design can create extra space away from a building or where there is little to fix to and offer much larger sizes if required, with or without side infills.

Our canopies are ideal for schools, retail parks, garage forecourts, hospitals, hotels, airports and any other commercial premises where covered space is required and enhances the outside area and creates more usable space or simply protects from the weather.

Modular System

This is another modular system from Samson Awnings.

You can start with a basic roof as a lean to or stand alone system and then at a later date add one or more sides to close in the covered area for more protection for the elements.

The Amplus canopy is so versatile as an outdoor canopy providing weather protection for medium to very large areas and making a healthier choice for so many people to be outdoors far more often when previously the weather would have prevented this.

The Amplus can be fitted onto appropriate concrete pads using a steel base plate system on each support leg. Alternative fixing methods are possible depending on the site conditions, ground levels, building restrictions and other variables.

There has been a massive growth in companies and the hospitality trade covering their outdoor space during the Covid pandemic and the obvious reason was to give a healthier outdoor space for people to meet, drink, eat and generally relax.

We are way behind our European neighbours in this world of outdoor living and now, since Covid came and went, we are waking up to using far more of available outdoor space to create simple or designed to perfection, covered areas with lighting, heating and fixed or movable side walling.

It is all about controlling the very variable British climate making it possible to be outdoors for most of the year rather than around less than half of it.

We either get cooked in the summer or soaked in the other months and there are a few sweet spots during spring and autumn…

Most of the time our canopies are considered temporary structures so can be erected with no planning permission* and the installation time is so fast generally, without the need for traditional ground work and footings.
