Markilux 5010 with shadeplus, Leicester.

This attractive looking Markilux 5010 with Sahdeplus was installed in July 2015.

The main purpose of the awning was to provide shading for the customer’s attractive looking patio area. The customer also wanted to make the area feel more enclosed so we suggested the Markilux 5010 with a Shadeplus drop down valance system.

The Markilux 5010 has shown itself to be modern and exclusive – from the cassette right through to the fixture brackets. The shape of the cassette is clear and classically modern.

The strong folding arms with different upper and lower arm lengths give the awning great stability, and the cover’s superb tautness when the awning is fully extended.

The Shadeplus is a clever invention making the solar protection under your Markilux perfect: In the front projection profile there is an additional roller with a second awning cover that can be lowered – to a maximum extension of 2.10 m. This creates a wonderful shady additional room outdoors: No matter if the sun is high or low, Shadeplus offers reliable protection.

The customer choose Stone Grey Metallic 5215 for the framework and a lovely contrasting fabric with thick Lime Green and Anthracite Grey stripes (Sunsilk 36997).
