GLASS VERANDA FOR COMMERCIAL OUTDOOR SEATING AREA

A larger than normal glass canopy to provide additional covered outdoor seating for customers in this bar and restaurant area in Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire

We were approached for a weather protection solution, particularly rain protection, for an area directly in front of a commercial bar and restaurant.

The solution based on the size required was one of our glass veranda systems manufactured by Weinor and using 10mm clear glazing, fully compliant in terms of safety for commercial applications.

This system is approximately 6.5m wide and 5.5 m in projection with the standard built in rainwater guttering built into the front profile. The rainwater is directed down and out the front and low level away from the seating area.

Why did we recommend the Weinor system?

One of the main reasons we recommend some of these systems is not only their suitability but also their overall integrity and strength to deal with commercial environments.

The knocks and bangs inevitable in a commercial and public area, especially a pub or restaurant. We want to make sure the system handles the potential hazards and also has longevity to provide many years of trouble free use.
