MARKILUX MARKANT RETRACTABLE ROOF STRUCTURE WITH SIDES

A large commercial grade aluminium structure with 2 independent retractable fabric roof systems built in the Markant offers a lot of coverage with just 4 posts. Up to 6m x 6m.

This structure was built during the pandemic and was to provide a lot of additional covered outdoor space for customers of a very popular wine bar in Bromsgrove, Birmingham.

The system was built with a partial free standing fixture system as the roof it sat on could not be tampered with using any fixings downwards.

One side was secured against the existing building and the opposite 2 posts were using bespoke weight boxes.

The system has LED lighting and infra-red heating incorporated for maximum use during the year and especially in the evenings.

2 vertical zip fabric electric blinds are built in to provide protection to 2 sides and the remaining side used the Markilux Format sliding fabric door system giving the ability for partial opening but access still possible for pedestrians coming in and out.

At 6m x 6m this markant system can provide excellent cover with minimal interference from supporting posts but also can incorporate many extras and lighting and heating in so many different positions to further enhance the protection and comfort for those sitting inside/underneath.
