RETRACTABLE ELECTRIC FABRIC ROOF AND STAND ALONE STRUCTURE
A standalone aluminium frame structure with 2 electric retractable fabric roof systems using a concertina system and covering 8100mm x 7200mm for a perfect covered outdoor area in a busy pub and restaurant in Derbyshire
This is a Gibus Isola Fly retractable vinyl fabric roof system. Relatively uncomplicated and able to deal with rain but without a drainage system so the water flows freely off 2 sides.
This is a self-supporting and surface mounted system using a series of weight boxes to avoid groundworks and concrete pads.
All that was required was a power supply to power the electric motor drive system which opens and closes the large roof in 2 independent sections.
The fabric used is a blackout PVC coated fabric technology to keep sun rays out and provide enough strength to deal with wind and rain when attached to the folding stainless steel scissor action system on either side.
The fabric roof is actually curved to be lower on 2 sides for optimum rainwater dispersal.
Now used regularly and a feature of this Derbyshire business.
The Dragon is a 150 year old pub with character, charm and a warm welcome. Situated in the heart of Willington village, backing onto the Trent and Mersey canal.
Boasting a 70-seater restaurant, a snug, extensive bar area, beautiful conservatory, seven luxurious guest rooms and a fabulous beer garden backing onto the canal with outdoor all weather dining. There is nowhere better to be, whatever the weather, whatever the occasion!
