SYNCRA BUTTERFLY AWNING SYSTEM WITH STABILITY BOXES

A massive fully retractable double electric awning system fitted onto the superb Markilux Syncra butterfly awning framework and using surface mounting weighted steel boxes avoiding intrusive groundworks.

The super strong and table Syncra system offers our customers the chance to cover very large areas with ease. This particular Samson installation in Chipping Camden, Gloucestershire is using 2 Markilux 5010 full cassette awnings each at 7000mm wide and with a 4000mm projection, giving an overall coverage of 56 square metres!!

The high quality powdercoated goalpost aluminium structure in the strongest of its kind and available in one section up to 7m wide.

This particular system was fitted using the surface mounted weight box system on each vertical support.

The weight boxes are designed to take a lot of ballast or often soil to enable the boxes to become raised flower beds or more often additional seating areas using various covers.

These enormous electric retractable awnings are operated via remote control but also incorporate the safety system of the vibrabox, a sensor to detect over aggressive movement in the front profile associated with high winds.

Once detected the awnings are sent a signal to retract and to safety. Of course, the wind speeds where this occurs are usually far higher than a comfortable outside climate and normal people wouldn’t be seated outside already.

With over 200 fabric colour choices on the awnings available and a wide range of standard high quality finishes for the framework this butterfly awning system is a favourite of ours in many commercial settings, and we have even installed a few in domestic settings.

The Syncra system is capable of carrying additional lighting and heating systems when required and all cabling and controls are neatly hidden inside the framework.
