FAQs
Do you supply Glass Extensions?
Yes we do, but not as an ‘extension’ in the traditional sense of the word on a house. The glass structures we offer are generally called glass verandas by most people and create a glass canopy for outside use, fitted against an existing building wall. We have wall mounted but also stand alone glass and polycarbonate roof verandas and now offer a flat roof design as well as the more traditional angled lean to systems.
None of our products are generally treated as traditional building extensions or conservatories as they are non insulated and not coming under building control in most cases.
We offer a wide range for lean to and stand alone glass extensions for home and business use and they are all made to order. We offer glass verandas ranging from 8mm glass to 12mm, depending on the size of the projection and whether you require additional elements such as side sliding glass doors or vertical blinds, etc.
Many glass roof systems are offered on the internet, but all our systems only use robust aluminium profiles and framework and the highest quality components, usually stainless steel.
Most of our glass verandas are made to order to the exact millimetre.
For a price and advice simply provide us with some dimensions for the width across the wall being fixed to and the projection as well as some details about the height at the back, drainage, floor surface and so on.
A picture or 2 sent via email will provide us with nearly the information we require to assist you in recommending the best system. Some idea of the size you might need also helps define the best model and specification.
