The free-standing retractable canopy and frame system Markilux Markant offers sun, rain and weather protection that can be customised to your personal needs.

It follows in the footsteps of products such as the Gibus Med Room, which is another free standing fabric roof awning system, however has the benefit of the incredible Markilux fabrics.

The integrated retractable fabric canopy gives the system a textile character and offers a high degree of individual colour options creating a pleasant atmosphere.

Dimensions

Max. post separation up to 600 × 600 cm with two independently functioning awnings as a single unit up to 300 cm × 600 cm. No support post in-between a 6m span for maximum vision and ventilation and for the very cleanest visual appearance. Pure class from a world leading German manufacturer.

Standard height 260 cm, other heights are possible and units can be coupled infinitely to cover very large areas either free standing or as a wall fixed system.

Rain protection: Rainwater runs through prefabricated cover openings into the gutter system and is directed away at low level or into existing drainage systems on site.

Slender aluminium ribs support the awning cover under very high rainwater loads.

Stops rain and increases privacy

Prefabricated openings in the cover allow rainwater to drain away to the ground through the rain guttering and downpipes in the corner posts. This ensures that potential rainwater does not enter the area underneath the Markant, a common trait of open front and sided awning systems.

Another functional highlight in reply to high user demand. With direct wall connection now possible, the support posts on the building are no longer required and a harmonious finish against the wall of the building can be achieved.

As a lean to system the flat roof angles offer the most stylish visual appearance and will suit most buildings, domestic or commercial.

Additional Options

Markilux infra red heaters, LED lighting, electric vertical awnings to enclose one side or all sides, sliding glass doors and optional io remote technology etc. are all optional accessories which can be added at the same time or later on with your Markant system.
