Process

After a showroom visit, the customer was happy with the Markilux MX3 retractable awning choice. Renowned for its sleek design and versatility, the Markilux MX3 offers a full cassette awning system, providing optimal protection for the fabric when retracted. Choosing the MX3 allows them to select a range of colour choices and the unique styling panel, which harmonises with their current surrounding design. Manufactured in Germany, the Markilux MX3 offers durability and stability with a wind resistance rating of up to 20mph (Beaufort 5), which is safe even in moderately windy conditions.

The awning was made to measure to fit the customer’s outdoor space, with dimensions of 4400mm x 3500mm. To ensure added safety and protection, a Vibrabox Wind Sensor is integrated into the system, automatically retracting the awning in response to strong winds. This awning is also equipped with Somfy Operation, featuring a 1 CH remote and a left-hand motor for seamless control and convenience.

Due to the surrounding design, our customer chose an anthracite grey framework with a vibrant green 6018, adding a touch of modern elegance to the outdoor space. With the Markilux fabric, you can get the advantage of water-resistant and self cleaning fabrics as long as the UV protection is up to UPF 50+ rating. To extend outdoor comfort during colder evenings, an Evergreen heater was added, providing warmth and ambiance for extended outdoor enjoyment.
